Royal Bahamas Police Force Neighborhood Policing Community InitiativeThe educational camp is led under the direction of the Royal Bahamas Police Force who saw the need to initiate signature community programs to encourage children to learn about basic first aid, water safety, swimming, and introduction to boating, hand line fishing, troll and bone (fly) fishing.

The West End Eco-Fishing Camp based in West End, Grand Bahama Island is a program for kids from the community between the ages of 8 and 15. They are immersed into a number of activities designed to get them thinking about their role as caretakers of the earth and living seas.

Camp Starts Soon!

Our Spring Eco-Fishing camp is held over 13 weekends and the Fall Snorkel and PADI Intro to Scuba Diving program is held over 6 weekends. Both are entirely funded by donations from businesses, churches, and individuals like you. Below are the donation contribution amounts for both the Spring and Fall Camp programs.

The camp sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 9AM to 1PM.

Parents are briefed on the camp standards prior to the start of the eco-fishing and snorkel programs.

The kids are evaluated and tested for their ability and skills in each of the programs offered in the camp.

We welcome you to visit one of our weekly sessions to learn more about the program and see first hand the blessing that each child receives from this initiative.

The Campers thank you for your support!
